I am a fully licensed funeral director and embalmer in the great state of Wisconsin. I have had quite a few “careers” in my life (poker player and welder), but none of them compare to serving grieving families.
Today is National Mortician’s Day (yes, we get a day too). While nice, we don’t need it. Because what we do, is for the families we serve, not for us.

I work for personalization. I work for diversity. I work to memorialize.
When someone loses a loved one, I am there for them throughout the entire process. From death until burial. From denial to acceptance.
This is what I do. From now until forever.
