Burning Both Ends of the Candle is Not the Brag You Think it Is

Fifty is the new forty. Not in ages, but workweek hours. Working forty hours per week is no longer the norm; fifty if not sixty is.

And we accept that! Stop!

It might. The hours and money can add up. What if you are a salaried worker? The more you work, the more burnt out you become.

Efficiency and quality suffer. Think about the time you are giving up. Time you’ll never get back. Time that cannot be bought.

I hope it’s worth it.
